I'm watching Whale Wars and the Sea Shepherd crew is trying to damage a Japanese harpoon ship. It seems that Japan would be able to sue the Sea Shepherd guys for damage to their ships. Can they? Have they?

I think J-gov will fault Sea Shepherd if results refugees are remaining without real estate because of this. Common.Sorry, but provided that J-gov is constantly on the neglect problems aid, I will not assistance "Tohoku" (i.e. whaling, consuming events and less expensive real estate for municipal servants, Tepco's legal and ongoing behavior etc.).

Yes, the have, and they have requested many nations to extradite (send) the Sea Shepard crew to Japan for trials.

In some episodes, some members board the ships of Japanese ships to do a 'citizens arrest' for violating international whaling regulations. The Japanese crew detain them for outstanding warrants for illegal ship invasion and ship damage.

There are Sea Shepard crew members currently in Japan serving jail time.

They are in international waters so Japanese laws don't apply. They need to get a couple of .50 BMG machine guns mounted on the decks of each of the Japanese ships to repel pirates.
