What laws, rules, or regualtions protect the Florida Everglades. If you could make a list of, the laws that protect Everglades, that would be very helpful. I also need to know how long these laws have been in place. Thanks, K@++.

The National Park Service (see first link below) has entire sections of its website devoted to the protection of the parks they oversee.

The NPS laws cover everything from disturbing ecosystems, to leaving shipwrecks untouched, to having a say in watershed activities near a park.

In the final days of the Clinton administration the Everglades Restoration Act was passed (see last link below). This consisted of a 30-year plan budgeted at $7.8 billion. It consists of sweeping measures to prevent further drainage of the Everglades and halts most construction around the Everglades.

This means the the laws and regulations protecting the Florida Everglades are possibly the most extensive of any national park.

You will need to do some research on this.

There would be federal, state and local laws, rules and/or regulations involved in protecting the Everglades - and there are many. If this is due tomorrow you'd better warm up your search engine.

With Boy George Warcrimes Bush and His Republicommunist mafia cult infecting our government, there are no laws that apply, because King George has been ruled to be above the law! As is written, federal laws supercede state laws, so all they have to do is to get Bush to declare an emergency and say that the state and federal laws need to be recinded! Bush has violated so many laws already (no, I am not slandering Him) that laws have particularly been held as unenforceable. Except that recently the US Supreme Court ruled that naval sonar cannot be used when it causes harm to whales and other sea creatures, but Bush has vowed to appeal that decision for the Navy - - - now wait a minute.... that came FROM the Supreme Court --- what does He mean by "appeal" ????????????????????
